Dance Creations was founded in the church when I was asked to dance in worship services. I staged young children as "dancing angels" at Christmas time. Classes began in the church and expanded over 14 years to two locations, 4 dance studios, ten teachers and over 400 students.

Although we have grown, we still remain a close-knit family of students, parents and teachers keeping active in our community.

Our vision is to pursue excellence in the art of dance through professional technical training. Students are nurtured in a loving and disciplined atmosphere to live up to their personal best potential.

Goals of our students may be professional, fitness, grace, competitions, enjoyment or to train to use dance for praise & worship.

In addition to classes, Dance Creations offers performing opportunities in the community, competitive teams and Christian dance companies.

Dance Creations is affiliated with The School of Fine Arts at E. 91st Street Christian Church.

Attendance

Regular attendance is expected of all Dance Creations students. Inconsistent attendance can affect a student’s level placement & advancement. Classes are also a “team” effort, especially when choreography begins for the recitals.

Tardiness

Please be prompt!! Students will not be admitted more than 10 minutes late to class unless prior arrangement has been made. This is disruptive to the entire class & student will miss valuable warm-up instruction time.

Late Pickup

For last class of night – Teacher’s should not be put in the awkward position of having to baby-sit after class hours. If you are late picking up your child, you will be charged $1/minute payable to the teacher that had to stay with your child.

Our building is open only during class times.

Dance Creations, LLC is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property. The faculty is not responsible for any injury sustained by the participation of a student in dance classes, rehearsals, performances or lobby.

Lobby Area

No un-attended children in lobby or studios! We have had a lot of damage done to our building. NO FOOD PERMITTED IN BUILDING!

Late Payments

Students may not attend classes until payment for current session is paid in full. $10 late fee per month will be accessed & you may lose your space.

Refunds/Credit

Refunds will be given only if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Credit will be given ONLY in the event of a prolonged injury or serious illness, which prohibits the student from dancing. There will be no credit adjustments for voluntary withdrawal or for classes missed due to sickness or the student’s personal schedule, i.e. vacations, sports participation, outside performances, etc.

Parking

Additional parking is available in the rear of Dance Creations. Students taking class in DC3 studio, please enter through the dancewear store next door if possible to avoid walking through dance studio.

One 1 hour to 1.25 hours class/wk	$140/session

Dance Ministry rehearsals are free of charge
Recital Fees	$40/family
Costumes approximately	$55-$65 per class
