We have a new company at Dance Creations
for students desiring more performing opportunities and
greater challenges. This group will meet to learn ballet
and/or lyrical/contemporary & jazz repertoire.
Performances will be held at various venues throughout
the year. We eventually want to produce entire ballets
and full programs for the community, including going
into the schools to perform and educate students in the
art of dance. Choreography will be by Ann Coan, Lise
Hearn, Melissa McInnnis and Bev Wohrle.
Rehearsal Times:
Ballet /Lyrical/Jazz Repertoire |
Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 |
Contemporary |
Mondays 8:15-9:30, Fridays 4:00-5:00 |
The groups will be determined by audition.
Pre-requisites for audition:

9+ years old
-
4+ prior years of consistent dance study
-
Level 3+
-
Good work ethic
-
Summer dance study required
-
Committed to regular attendance & performance schedule
-
Ballet group – Attending 2 or more ballet classes a week
-
Jazz/Contemporary group - Attending at least 1 jazz, 1 contemporary and 1 ballet class a week
Auditions are each spring. Costs & additional details will be announced at audition time.
