Tap dance uses hard soled shoes with aluminum taps
screwed on the bottoms. Tap is a rhythmic type of dance
using the feet to make clicking sounds on the floor. We
use Al Gilbert’s technical tap syllabus. Exercises at
the barre and center are included in tap class.
Shoes required:
Combo classes – tan tap shoes – replace ribbons with
elastic ties
Tap 1,2, 3 - tan Maryjane type tap shoes with strap
Tap 4, 5 – tan heeled tap shoes
